Dyno-bite Krispies

The other night I went to bed early because I was feeling sick...actually lately I am so tired by seven pm that I am ready for bed it is very similar to how I felt the first three months of the pregnancy. So the other night when Joel came to bed a couple hours later, I was deep in sleep but I hear him and always want to talk to him so I start mumbling stuff to him...in my mind we are having a full conversation but to him he has no clue what I am saying just certain words. This happens quite often lately... Joel loves it and tells me about it the next morning. So this night I had a craving...dyno-bite Krispies. That is what I was talking about and that was all Joel could understand. The next day I bought some dyno-bites and made some...they are delicious! If you don't know what they are they are just like rice krispies but you use the cereal dyno-bites or fruity pebbles.

Before we were married, Joel would come to my apartment (since we were neighbors) and ask to use my pan so he could make them. In return of lending my pan, I would get to eat them with him. I loved that deal! I haven't had them or even thought about them since we were dating. But they are so good and easy to make.

Stars, Moons, and Teddy Bears

After searching the internet for different pattern ideas and emailing them to Joel to get approval...we decided on a crib set. Which this is the one I liked from the very beginning but I kept finding more and more so I kept emailing him the pictures. This is the one Joel liked.

I got a mattress for the crib today on my lunch and we made the baby's crib today. We haven't done anything else to the baby's room just in case we move...which hopefully we do soon! These are the colors of the baby's room.

As for an update on the house searching...we had two we liked but one was put under contract on Monday so we are now down to only one. The one we put an offer on is good but there is a lot of work to be done on it. We are still keeping our eyes open for more houses to look at - we decided that we would maybe even look in Draper to give us a bigger selection.

Baby's Profile

Tonight was another doctor's appointment. The doctor did another ultrasound because last time the baby was being stubborn and wouldn't turn around so we couldn't get a good look at his face but this time the baby was awake and moving around so...here is a picture of the little guy.

The doctor said he looks like a healthy baby. For those who can't see it the head is on the right side. Before the doctor took this picture, we saw the baby yawn...it was a big yawn. It was adorable! Everything is going good with the pregnancy. I am getting so big it is crazy to look down and see my belly sticking out. This is week 25 ... so just 15 more to go.

Yesterday it snowed so hard the power went out for about 2 hours at five pm. Which is when I am driving home from work and Joel makes dinner sometimes. Since the power was out we had hamburgers from the grill by kerosene lamp. It was fun. Then we played yahtzee till the power came back on. It was fun to be able to have a good time even without the power.

New Job

This picture is the most recent picture from my nephew's gymnastic meet. I felt like I needed a picture since the last couple posts haven't had any...and I love pictures no matter how strange we look.

This past week was Joel's first week at his new job at ITT Corp. He seems to like it a lot. He gets to sleep in more now but gets home later. Not sure how much he likes the schedule but he will get used to it. Now all we need is to sell our house...then he will only have to drive a half hour instead of an hour and ten minutes. Everyday when he drives past Lehi he tells me just think right now I would be getting home. This job is a good move this company has a future and some security for our family. I am really proud of Joel for getting this job. Now we don't have to worry about him being laid off in July like when he was working at Klune.

So our house is up for sale and we have put a bid on a house in Lehi. So now we just wait and pray that something will happen soon. We would love to be moved in to a new house before the baby comes but you never know what will happen-especially in the housing market these days.

Something exciting -yesterday was the first day that Joel was able to fill the baby moving. It was pretty amazing. When Joel would put his hand on the belly the baby started moving around. Also we put up the crib...just because I wanted to see it. I know that if we move soon then we will just have to move it and it now takes up more space....but its nice to go in the baby's room and have it actually look like a baby's room.

Moving

Today I felt the baby move:) Everytime I go to the doctor he asks felt the baby move? and I sadly say no...but today when I was watching a movie I felt a strange feeling in my belly...then a little bit later same thing but it had moved a tiny bit to the right. I am positive it is the baby. I was so excited! Just wanted to share.
