I haven't posted very much with this pregnancy. This week I am 30 weeks. It has flown by. Which is nice and I am really excited to be done. This pregnancy is completely different from my first. At first I was really sick at times but not as tired. With Orin I was always tired. I can workout this time and it has been nice. I can eat everything except chicken makes me really sick. Which doesn't help when I am sick and want chicken noodle soup. That is why I was so sick at the beginning. I think this baby is sitting more in my back because my back aches always and I am not as big as I was with Orin. Which has been nice since Orin loves to be held still and rocked.
Orin is really good about touching my belly and saying baby. Except he always wants to see the bare belly. Lol.
I went to the doctor this weekend and everything is going well. My glucose was at 80 and doctor said they dont worry about it unless it is at 140. So that is good. i always get worried about being checked for diabetes since it runs in my family. They had to take my blood to check on my liver. Which I have to call tomorrow to make sure everything is ok. I think it is nothing but have to wait and see.
Here is the picture from this weekend. 29 1/2 weeks. I am so excited for February :)

Orin 18 months old
Orin had his 18 mo check up this week. He remembered it from last time and was not excited about it. Luckily Joel has Fridays off too so we all went. He hide under the table from the doctor and gave the doctor funny looks.
He is growing so well. He has stayed in these same percentiles since he was 2 weeks old. It is nice not to have to worry about his growing. Plus this kid loves food and to eat just like his mommy.
Weight 28# 11 oz 80%
Height 35 in 97%
Head 54%
Orin still loves to read books and now his favorite toys are cars and trucks and anything he can push or ride. He is a little crazy sometimes and likes to wrestle. He loves to hide and help with everything. He likes to dance and talks lots. He definitely has a mind of his own and knows what he wants. He can scream with the best of them. When in one of those moods we stay home. He loves to walk/ run and still loves hugs and kisses and to cuddle. Dad is his favorite. He loves to cuddle with dad in the mornings and watch cartoons.
We are so blessed with such a fun happy kid. He definitely keeps us on our feet.
He cried the first time at nursery after being dropped off but loved it after a min and realized it is like daycare. He loves his new room and doesn't care about his old room. He still sleeps in the crib except from 7 am to 9 in our bed with dad or in the cradle.
He is supposed to push this Lego truck around but he flips the back and rides it. He loves it.
Orin loved helping put up the decorations this year.
Here he is in the baby's cradle. He fills it up but still wants to lay in it sometimes and slept in it this morning for a half hour.
Daddy and Orin reading a book. They are best buddies.
There is our cute boy! His hair is getting so long again.
Here Orin is wrestling with Dad and showing his ear to him.
Here Orin found Dad's ear. He is pretty good at the body parts.

Thanksgiving
We had thanksgiving at our house this year. It was our first one where we were in charge. Everything turned out pretty good. The only thing that went wrong was we set the marshmallows on fire on the yams. My dad blew them out and we took the top layer off and they still tasted good :) it was pretty funny I wish I had got a picture of it. Joel made the turkey and it was delicious!
Here is Joel preparing the bird.
Enjoying some good food. Aidan and Shawn (behind the Dr. Pepper)
Joel loving some Mt Dew. We were able to use my goblets that my mom gave me that were my Great Grandmas.
Our nephews Casen and Peyton

My friend Sarah.

Orin. He loved the turkey and the roll. He also loved having visitors. He was very sad when everyone left.
Orin wearing Dad's jacket after the cousins left. He thought he was so cool in Dad's jacket.
Orin and Grandpa. Grandpa puts Orin on his shoulders and Orin loves it. He likes to mess up Grandpa's hair and play with his ears and nose. We ask Orin wear is his nose and he grabs it and then he grabs Grandpa's nose. It was so funny,
Orin was so excited and had so much fun that he didn't get a nap. He fell asleep watching the first 10 minutes of Brave. He then woke up when we were putting his pj's on and had so much energy you never would have guessed he didn't get a nap. He has the power nap down pretty good. He slept for those ten minutes and then was running around for an hour and a half later. I am so grateful for my family. I am especially grateful for Joel and Orin and the baby.

Orin's New Room
We decided to get Orin's room finished before the baby comes then we can get the baby's room done. My Parents gave a couple of old dressers from when I was younger and my old bed frame. Joel Sanded and refinished the big dresser and bed frame. They look amazing. Orin loves them. I made Orin a blanket and pillowcase for the twin bed.

Before Picture
After Picture. Joel did an amazing job.
This is Orin's bed (he doesn't sleep in it yet but he loves to play on it.)

The blanket before I had finished it. I finished it now and it fits the bed pretty good. It is supposed to be a Christmas present for Orin. He loves to play on it. He thinks it is to race on.

Hanging out with cousins
Orin LOVES visitors. He was so excited when my parents came and brought my niece and nephew. My nephew Peyton was baptized so they came and spent the weekend. These pictures are from the visit.
This picture Orin fell asleep and he was holding onto Kaleb's hand when he did. IT was so adorable.
Kaleb, Aidan and Orin are playing with the phone and Orin loves to look at things on the phones.
Tasia, Orin, and Kaleb watching the Phantom of the Opera. They all love this show.
Kaleb and Orin just chilling on the floor looking at the phone again.
They are all hanging out.
They are looking at Santa...Orin was so excited. We got pictures of them sitting on Santa's lap.
We went to Scheels and they have all these cool places you can take pictures. Here is one. (sorry I didn't get the full bear. I was trying to get them all looking at the picture)
Orin loves to ride on Grandpa's shoulders...It makes him taller than his daddy.

Halloween (sorry so late)

| Joel and Orin (see the clipboard Joel is holding - he made it our of carbon fiber. He is amazing!!) |
We had a great Halloween this year! It was so much fun to dress up and go do things with our cute little boy. Joel comes up with our costumes every year. He is really creative and since he is always driving and seeing all the construction on the freeway. We were a construction family. Joel was the boss, I was the sign holder, Orin was the construction barrel and little baby Gavin was the bump :)
We went to the Halloween bash at Smiths the Saturday before Halloween. In the picture above Orin is running through the straw maze. He loved it! We went through it like 3 times. You can see his costume pretty good in this picture. I made it the day before. I think it turned out pretty good. I wasn't so sure about it at first but I soon figured it out. I made it out of an orange pillowcase and some shiny material I had laying around.
Orin and me and of course baby bump :)
Orin with his cousins. We went trick-or-treating with them. It was pretty fun. Orin loved running from house to house and loved when they would put the candy in his bag. We went to this one house that were making donuts on their front porch. They own a bakery in Orem and they were delicious!!
Joel and Orin when we went trick-or-treating down main street in Lehi, It was such a nice day and we both took it off so we could have a great experience for Orin's first time trick-or-treating. Orin did mostly walking down main street so one of us pushed the empty stroller.
Orin when the day was over. He loved his candy. Next to him is the candy dish that he kept taking candy out of and putting in his bucket.
Joel being very boss like. LOL He looks so official.
Orin and my attempt at making the haunted house that my parents gave us...I failed. so we just dipped the chocolate cookie into milk and ate it. Orin just played with the candy but didn't eat it. We had a great Halloween this year!

Orin's New Hat
Uncle David gave Orin a new hat. He saw it while he is out on deployment and sent it to my parents so when they came to visit this weekend they brought it.
(Sorry the pictures are kind of placed weird and in strange order and lots of extra space this blog wasn't being very cooperative. IT was just making me frustrated.)
This picture is of Orin after opening the hat it is in his hands.

Here is a picture of Orin wearing it. He wouldn't let me pull it up so it isn't quite on his mouth. At first he was a little scared of it but he has gradually learned to like it. First time I put it on him he freaked out and then we put it on my nephew Peyton and Orin realized it was ok to wear. He later let me put it on him and then he ran around the house and wouldn't stand still for a picture.
Here is the side view.
This is my brother Shawn and Orin trying to get him to just sit still for a picture.
Later after everyone left Orin wanted to wear the hat but he tucked the beard in it and wore it like this while he played with his blocks.
Here is the picture of my nephew Peyton wearing the hat.
We sure do love the hat. Thanks Uncle David!!!

Bun in the Oven
So we are having another little boy!!
We are very excited! Orin is going to be such a good big brother and he is going to love having a little brother. When we told him it is a boy he got the biggest grin and gave me a huge hug. It was adorable! The other day I asked him if he was going to share a room with his little brother and he looked straight at me and said yes. It was like he understood me completely.
I like to have pictures so here are a few of orin. Orin is a good helper. He helped me make cinnamon rolls and dinner rolls last night. Here are a couple pictures from it.
