New pajamas and Haircut

This is an old post that I haven't had a chance to post so here it is.
Orin's hair got long and poofy again. So we gave him another haircut. This time Joel did it and I held him. This is the before picture. (sorry its blurry  that kid is always moving and most my pictures of him are blurry because of it. )

Here Orin is with his new haircut and his new pajamas. He grew out of all his old ones that were warm and so we got new ones and he loves them! He loves to carry them everywhere.

Here is our cute boy in his new pajamas and new haircut. .

Orin with his hair sticking up...LOL It was styled like Joel did his hair. It was pretty cute my little Joel.

Orin up to mischief. He has learned to turn off these lights and loves to do it.

Family Update

So decided to do a little family update.

Joel likes his new job and is enjoying the sleeping in that he gets most days except when Orin wakes up early. But they have it down to where they sleep in until usually 9 or later. Joel likes that he can work some overtime at this job to save up for our new little baby.  His new interest these days is Dave Ramsey. He always is listening to Dave Ramsey or working on the computer on Quicken to get our budget in line so we can get out of debt. Lately it is rare to see Joel playing games and I have to admit I love it! We have been spending a lot more time together since he started this new job and it has been pretty wonderful. Joel is teaching Orin a lot of words and they play games together. Orin sure does love his Daddy time. This is the picture Joel gave me when I told him I wanted to put it on the blog. LOL That is how he looks in most pictures.Oh and he is growing his beard for our Halloween costumes...which will be a surprise that Joel came up with. :)

Orin is growing up so much and learning so much. He still loves to be read to and loves to color. Except we learned he can't color inside because he drew on the chair. Luckily it was just a folding chair and not important.  He is learning so many words. It can take him a bit to get it down but once he does he will say it over and over. Yesterday Joel taught him how to say battery. He has learned how to say puppy, please, mommy, daddy, bye, hi, more and he loves to mimic you when you talk. He loves to throw balls and go get them. He now sleeps in his own bed...which has been good for our sleep. We took him off the bottle last month. He loves to eat! He needs a haircut again it is getting a little shaggy which you can see in the pictures. He loves corn on the cob even though he only has 6 teeth. He gets into everything. He loves to play with the cans from the pantry. He loves to give kisses and hugs. He is a very loving little boy.

Here is our cute little boy.
Just ate his first oreo and loved the frosting.
He fell and got a cut on his forehead which you can see in this picture.
He is fixing the truck in this picture.
At work they put my name on my door so now I am official :)

Here is the picture of me. I went to the doctor today for our checkup and everything looks good. The baby's heartbeat sounded good it was 152 beats. We are 17 1/2 weeks.  We scheduled our ultrasound for October 9 which is so far away and I will be 21 weeks but they were so booked that was the next available date. So we have to wait. I have been feeling pretty good now not as sick as before but some days I don't do so well. I have a lot more energy with this baby which is nice and I can work out and I feel a ton better the days I do. I am hoping I can gain less weight than I did with Orin since with Orin I gained 60 lbs and this one I haven't hardly gained any but I have been pretty sick some days (which I hope goes away but today is one of those not feeling good days). I have had lots of cravings and pickles are my favorite at the moment already been through 4 almost 5 jars. Lately I have been craving things with cheese...such as manicotti which is what's for dinner. :)

My birthday

Yesterday I turned 29. Wow is all I have to say about that. We had a great day! This year I wanted clothes so Joel gAve me an amount and we all went shopping for them. It was lots of fun to go shopping with my 2 favorite guys. I also got 4 books and curling irons since mine broke. I was definitely spoiled. Also we got my favorite breakfast French toast from kneaders. We brought it home and ate it. Joel put a candle in it and sang happy birthday to me Orin loved it and he got a few try's to blow it out himself. He has gotten pretty good at it since Joel birthday. Here are some pictures of it. So for dinner we went to Texas roadhouse and it was delicious! When we got home dad and Orin fixed the sprinkler. Orin loves to help dad outside. Then we came inside and had some cake and watched a show that i wanted to watch. Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! It was a great day!

Sorry the pictures are all mixed up and I didn't fix them since I added them on on my phone.

Idaho trip and the fair

We went to Idaho a couple weeks ago but I haven't had a chance to post the pictures til now. We went to the burley fair. We had a great time seeing our family and friends while there. Here are some pictures we took. I wish we had more.

Joel and Orin playing legos at Grandma and Grandpa Ricks.  They were having a great time. Orin loves to play legos. This is something we do a lot of. He loves to dump the bag of legos and likes to throw them in the bag.

We were locked out. So we just hung around outside and Orin chased the kitty. We also caught a sheep that was running loose and put it back in the cage. I didn't get a picture of this because we were kind of busy trying to catch it. Orin and I were very helpful we scared the sheep right towards Joel.

Orin swinging in the tire swing. He loved it! He was a little scared when I first put him in it but once I started to push him it was ok.
Grandma and Grandpa Jubeck took us to lunch at Taco Bandido (my favorite place in Burley). Orin loved the fry sauce.
Orin rode around on Grandpa's shoulders and he thought it was so cool.
Orin petting the cow at the fair.
He was a little scared to pet the cow near the face.

Orin on the drive home. Grandma and Grandpa Jubeck gave him this teddy bear and he takes it everywhere. It is the bear that he sleeps with every night. He has been giving kisses a lot lately and he gives his teddy bear kisses and then I have to give the teddy bear a kiss. He is such a fun kid.
